It was a busy week last week at koi. Our sales team came from all corners of the U.S. to visit our home office in Santa Monica. The sales team previewed the newest line, met with Kathy Peterson and the koi staff, strategized for the upcoming selling season and spent some time bonding and dining at some great Santa Monica eateries.

We love introducing new styles to our customers. One of Kathy Peterson’s new creations for fall is the koi Candace top. This fun, free-spirited peasant top is one of our favorites. It looks great on the job, at the mall or at a casual get-together with friends. No one will guess you’re wearing scrubs!

One of the benefits of koi designer Kathy Peterson’s job is that she has the opportunity to travel and meet really nice people all across the country. Recently, she got together with Janet and Dave Nathan in New York City. Janet is an ER nurse and a fan of koi and her husband Dave is an ER doctor in Pennsylvania. Kathy and Janet have been corresponding for awhile by email. And Dave helped test koi’s men’s line before it was launched earlier this year. Both have been great friends of koi and Kathy was thrilled to finally meet them in person.

Recently, koi designer scrubs have made appearances on the new TNT nursing drama HawthoRNe, starring Jada Pinkett Smith, which airs on Tuesday nights. If you haven’t seen the show yet, check it out!

Kathy Peterson and the koi team recently paid a visit to Affordable Uniforms, the leading koi retailer in the Cleveland, OH area, to review the newest lines. It was a great visit for all. If you’re ever in Ohio,  you’ll want to check out the koi selection at their stores. Affordable Uniforms has retail locations in Garfield Heights, Mentor, North Olmsted, Akron and Dayton, Ohio.
