We’d like to say thanks to our friends Janet and Dave from Pennsylvania for bringing us a taste of Key West. Janet is an ER nurse and a great supporter of koi and her husband Dave is an ER doctor. They were nice enough to send a basket of goodies from their vacation in Key West. Thanks so much for the delicious treats!

As many of you koi faithful know, koi founder and designer Kathy Peterson is an active participant in koi’s year-long “Healthier, Happier You” weight-loss campaign.

Here’s Kathy’s monthly “Healthier, Happier You” update for September 2010:

“Sorry for my late update. I’ve been traveling a lot and I wish there were a few more hours in each day. Well, since my last update, I managed to lose 2 pounds But I have to say, it’s probably from visiting China and eating less while I was there. Now that most of my traveling is behind me, I’m eager to get back into my fitness schedule. I have to say that participating in this weight-loss challenge has definitely had its ups and downs so far, but I’m glad I’m doing it. To my fellow participants, I want to thank you for inspiring me to stay motivated. Hang in there!”
