Kai is on another trip to Florence, one of his favorite cities.  This time, he really wanted to check out Museo di Palazzo Vecchio, a spectacular museum that houses works by many great Italian artists.  Kai was awed to see paintings by Michaelangelo, Leonardo da Vinci and Donatello.

Shortly after leaving the museum, Kai decided to take a little rest in the Palazzo.  This is his last known location, sitting here by the Fountain of Neptune.  We hope someone comes across him soon.  He promised to take us out for pizza and we’re getting hungry!

Kai is having the time of his life in Sweden.  After his ABBA-fest, he went on a great adventure in Gothenburg, taking in the sights and making friends with the locals.

Yes, you guessed it…Kai crashed another wedding!  Luckily the bride and groom were good sports and took quite a shine to him.  Here he is getting cozy with the happy couple.  Kai, in case no one’s told you yet, three’s a crowd!

Later on he went to visit his old friend Poseidon.  Kai says they know each other quite well from back in the ocean days.

Kai decided to hang out there for a while reminiscing about the good old days.  We believe he is still there.  If any of our koi friends in Gothenburg spot him, please help him find his way back home to us.  There is a reward for his safe return.

This is Kai’s first visit to Sweden, and he couldn’t be more excited.  You see, Kai is a huge disco fan, and loves ABBA the most. He knows all their lyrics by heart and has seen Mamma Mia several times.

Kai jumped right off the plane like a Super Trouper. Imagine his excitement when he saw this display of ABBA costumes in the airport! Kai’s eyes turned huge as he exclaimed “Gimme! Gimme! Gimme!”

Naturally, he insisted on staying at the Hotel Rival, a disco-themed hotel owned by the band.

It is such an interesting place, even the bathroom looks like a giant disco ball. Just what a little fish needs to feel like the ultimate Dancing Queen!

Knowing Me, Knowing You and knowing Kai, it was only a matter of time before he went missing.

Erin S. came across Kai after attending the same wedding he had crashed earlier.  She scooped him up and the pair were off on a whole new adventure!  Erin took Kai to enjoy some brews at the Blue Rose Cafe on the Arkansas River, and sent us this adorable picture.  It doesn’t look like Kai wants to come home any time soon!

As a thank you for finding Kai and taking such good care of him, Erin has won a $250 reward and a friend for life!

Kai loves weddings. During the ceremony he sits there dabbing his eyes and getting all wistful about true love, and is always the first on the dance floor at the reception.  And the cake!  Don’t even get us started on the cake.

He loves weddings so much, that he sometimes shows up at ones he wasn’t actually invited to.  Which is what happened on a recent trip to Tulsa, OK.

Kai spotted the wedding venue.

He even posed with the bridal party!

And then spotted the party favors.  This never ends well.

Kai got way too excited about the favors and dove headfirst into an enormous jar of candy.  It was at this point that we decided to just leave him to it!

Hopefully a kind wedding guest will find him in a sugar haze somewhere and help him find his way back. There is a reward for his safe return!
